How it works
Getting a tattoo should feel considered, comfortable and straightforward.
Here’s how the process works at DR INK Tattoo, from first message to finished piece.

Step 1.
Make an enquiry
Everything starts with a simple enquiry.
This gives me the chance to understand your idea properly before anything is booked. You can share as much or as little as you like.
A clear vision is great, but a loose idea is just as welcome. Once your message comes through, I will read it personally and get back to you.
Step 2.
Initial response and guidance
After reviewing your idea, I will reply with any questions, suggestions, or guidance that might help shape the design. This is a relaxed conversation rather than a commitment. The aim is to make sure your idea feels achievable and right for you. If it feels like a good fit for us both, I will offer you a fifteen-minute consultation.

Step 3.
The consultation
The consultation is a short, focused conversation where everything comes together. We will talk through the design direction, placement, and sizing, as well as any adjustments or refinements you might want. We will also cover what to expect from the process so you have total clarity and confidence before we move forward.
Step 4.
Booking and deposit
If you decide to go ahead, I will offer you an appointment slot that works for both of us. I require a booking fee to secure your appointment. This covers my design time and confirms your place in the diary. I will share all the details at this stage so everything is completely clear.

Step 5.
Your appointment
On the day of your appointment, you will arrive at a calm, private studio where everything is set up with care. You will have time to go through the final design, placement, and sizing before anything begins. There is no rushing here. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident before we start. I will guide you through the process and check in with you throughout the session.
Step 6.
Aftercare and healing
Once your tattoo is finished, I will give you clear aftercare instructions and advice on the healing process. I will also show you where to find the full guide on my website. If you have any questions while your tattoo is healing, you can always get in contact with me.
