How it works

Getting a tattoo should feel considered, comfortable and straightforward.
Here’s how the process works at DR INK Tattoo, from first message to finished piece.

Step 1.

Make an enquiry

Everything starts with a simple enquiry.

This gives me the chance to understand your idea properly before anything is booked. You can share as much or as little as you like.

A clear vision is great, but a loose idea is just as welcome. Once your message comes through, I will read it personally and get back to you.

Step 2.

Initial response and guidance

After reviewing your idea, I'll reply with any questions, suggestions or guidance to help shape the design.

This is a relaxed conversation, not a commitment. Most of the time we can get everything sorted over chat.

If I feel a call would help, I'll send you a link to book a quick consultation so we can talk it through properly.

Step 3.

Your session confirmed

Once I have a clear picture of your design, I'll confirm exactly how long your tattoo will take. This is an important step. Every tattoo is different and getting the time right means I can do the work properly without rushing.

Step 4.

Booking and deposit

Once your session length is confirmed, I'll point you to the right booking link. You choose a date and time that works for you, pay your £49 deposit and you're locked in. The deposit comes off the total cost of your tattoo on the day.

Step 5.

Your appointment

On the day of your appointment, you will arrive at a calm, private studio where everything is set up with care. You will have time to go through the final design, placement, and sizing before anything begins. There is no rushing here. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident before we start. I will guide you through the process and check in with you throughout the session.

Step 6.

Aftercare and healing

Once your tattoo is finished, I will give you clear aftercare instructions and advice on the healing process. I will also show you where to find the full guide on my website. If you have any questions while your tattoo is healing, you can always get in contact with me.

A calm and considered process

DR–INK Tattoo is a private studio, and the process is intentionally personal. There’s no conveyor belt and no pressure to rush decisions.

If you’ve been thinking about a tattoo for a while, the best next step is simply to get in touch.
