Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Quotes

All session lengths must be confirmed by Becks before you book. This happens through your initial inquiry, either over chat or on a consultation call. Becks will confirm exactly how many hours your tattoo will take and direct you to the appropriate booking link for that duration.

Please do not book a slot without this confirmation. If you book a session shorter than the time your tattoo requires, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. This is because insufficient time means the tattoo cannot reach the standard DR-INK is known for.

Your booking is only confirmed once Becks has agreed on your session length and you have booked the correct number of hours online.

2. Deposit

A £49 booking fee is required to secure every appointment. This is taken at the time of booking and is deducted from the total cost of your tattoo on the day.

Deposits are paid online and are non-refundable except as set out below.

3. Cancellations

If you need to cancel, at least 48 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows on the day will result in forfeiture of the deposit. In some cases, the full session cost may be requested before a new appointment is made.

4. Rescheduling

One reschedule is allowed per booking, provided enough notice is given. Please contact Becks directly to arrange this. A second reschedule will require a new deposit.

If Becks needs to cancel your appointment for any reason, your deposit will be transferred to a new date that works for you.

5. Late Arrivals

Life happens, and lateness is sometimes unavoidable. If you are running late, please let Becks know as soon as possible. DR-INK is a private one-person studio and cannot always absorb lost time, so if your late arrival means the full session cannot be completed, any additional time required will need to be booked and paid for separately.

6. Age & ID

Tattooing is strictly for clients aged 18 and over. ID may be requested at any appointment. No exceptions will be made.

7. Health & Medical Conditions

For your safety, please let Becks know before your appointment if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • You have a blood-clotting disorder or take blood-thinning medication

  • You have diabetes

  • You have a heart condition or use a pacemaker

  • You have a skin condition such as eczema or psoriasis in the area to be tattooed

  • You have a known allergy to ink or latex

  • You have a compromised immune system or are undergoing chemotherapy

  • You have had a recent surgical procedure near the area to be tattooed

  • You are taking any medication that may affect healing

Becks reserves the right to decline a tattoo appointment if she believes it may pose a health risk to the client. This decision is always made with your well-being in mind.

8. Alcohol & Substances

Please do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol thins the blood, affects healing and impacts the quality of the tattoo. Clients who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any substance will not be tattooed and will forfeit their deposit.

9. Studio Rules

DR-INK is a private, one-person studio. To keep the space calm and focused:

  • Please do not bring children to your appointment

  • Please do not bring additional guests unless previously agreed with Becks

  • The studio is a professional working space, and clients are asked to be respectful of that

 

10. Aftercare

Once your tattoo is complete, you are responsible for following the aftercare advice provided. Full aftercare instructions are available at www.dr-inktattoo.co.uk/aftercare. Proper aftercare is essential to how your tattoo heals, and DR-INK cannot be held responsible for issues that arise from failure to follow these instructions.

 

11. Touch Ups

Depending on how your skin heals, a touch-up may sometimes be needed. This is a normal part of the process. Becks will advise you on this at your appointment.
